A breast feeding mother's diet should always consist of different type of food that will help increase her breast milk supply. Saluyot, also known as C. olitorius is a common vegetable in the Philippines and Thailang that is also known to stimulate and increase breast milk production. I'd like to personally share with you a simple recipe that I cook at least once or twice a week to help boost my milk supply.

Saluyot Soup Recipe

Ingredients you need includes:
one tomato, diced
one red onion, sliced into half
one egg, beaten
a pinch of salt
one cup of Saluyot leaves

one tbsp cooking oil

How to make the soup:

1. Prepare all the ingredients.

2. Fry the sliced pork belly first, until slightly brown.

3. In a pan, boil water with tomato, onion and your fried pork. Boil for 3-5 minutes.

4. Add the Saluyot leaves, and let it simmer for 1 minute.

5. Add the egg and salt to taste.
